WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE ASK FOR?
When you express an interest in becoming a member of the ATA you will be asked to provide certain information, for example:
• Email address
• Telephone number(s)
• Postal address
HOW DO WE COLLECT THIS PERSONAL INFORMATION?
All the information collected is obtained directly from you. This is usually at the point of you initially showing interest and wishing to be kept informed. The information is generally collected either via a membership form, email or verbally and then having your email address added to the mailing list. In giving the ATA your email address you are implicitly giving your consent for that information to be stored in a password protected database which is required in order to ensure our compliance with data protection legislation.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We only use your personal information to provide you with information about ATA activities and, on occasion, local events that your committee deem of interest to the membership. Our normal means of communication is by email. If you do not possess an email address we will deliver a printed copy to your door within Alresford or by post if beyond. Your information is not processed in any other way.

We will keep your information until you ask for it to be removed.
Any reference to individual members in, for example, newsletters will be redacted before appearing on our website unless express permission to remain has been obtained.
HOW YOUR INFORMATION CAN BE UPDATED OR CORRECTED
To ensure the information we hold is accurate and up to date, members need to inform the ATA as to any changes to their personal information. You can do this by contacting the Membership Secretary at any time:
