Twinning Association Events
During the year the Twinning Association arranges a number of social events for members including exchange vists to Bricquebec in France.
The 2009 programme will include the following:

French/Norman Market. The market visits Alresford again and an opportunity to sample authentic Norman produce and visit the Twinning Stand to learn more about the Association. |

Spring Walk. Meet at Arlebury Park 10.00 | Enjoy a leisurely guided walk from Arlebury Park across Fob Down to Old Alresford and back, to observe spring plants, birds and other wild life. | |
| Friday15 - Sunday 17 May | Visit to Alresford from our french friends | An opportunity to reinforce relationships with our friends from Bricquebec. Planned to coincide with the weekend of the Watercress Festival. | |
| June | Tichborne Arms.................Enjoy a social evening of Petanque and a "few beers" ! | Meet
at the Tichborne
Arms for an
evening playing
petanque. If
you have a set

Summer Wine Evening Venue to be confirmed. |
Open to members, friends and potential new members, to enjoy a glass of wine (or two) in a local garden. Unfortunately we are not yet able to announce the venue but please be sure to put the date in your diaries—Friday 10th July. In the past we have visited Brandy Mount and Weir House and are hopeful of finding a similar, easy to access venue. If any of you have any suggestions as to where we might be able to hold the event, please let Terry Foreman or a member of the committee know so that we can consider it at the next committee meeting. |
