Twinning Association Events
During the year the Twinning Association arranges a number of social events for members including exchange visits to and from Bricquebec in France. 2011 will include a visit to Alresford from our friends in Bricquebec.
The 2011 programme will include the following events. Nearer these dates more details on venues, times etc. will be found on the latest newsletter.

Spring Walk. | Enjoy a leisurely guided walk in the morning in the area around Alresford. | |
| Friday 3 - Sunday 5 June | Visit to Alresford from our french friends | An opportunity to reinforce relationships with our friends from Bricquebec. If you would be willing to act as host during this weekend please get in touch with Jean Hudson. All members (even if you are not hosting) are invited to the celebratory dinner held on the Saturday night. | |
| Late June/ Early July | Petanque Picnic | Meet at Alrebury Park, bring your own picnic and enjoy an evening playing petanque. If you have a set of boules please bring them. Help and guidance with the game will be available. Enquires to Barry Cope. | |
| Saturday July 16 |
Summer Wine Evening Venue to be confirmed. |
Open to members, friends and potential new members,
to enjoy a glass of wine (or two) in a local garden.
Unfortunately we are not yet able to announce the venue but please be sure to put the date in your diaries—Saturday 16th July. Last year we visited Old Alresford Place and are hopeful of finding a similar, easy to access venue. If any of you have any suggestions as to where we might be able to hold the event, please let Jean Hudson or a member of the committee know so that we can consider it at the next committee evening. |
